Meet our Director and Campus Minister: the Rev. Laurel Fraser (she/her/hers). Laurel is an ordained elder, a published writer, a renewed reader, and a lover of coffee.
Laurel has felt a call to ministry with young people ever since she was an undergrad at Cornell College (no, the other Cornell in Mount Vernon, Iowa). She served most recently as the Minister of Children, Youth and Families before getting ordained in the United Methodist Church and moving to Rock Hill in June 2024.
Laurel’s roots expand across the country: she grew up in Iowa, got her Master’s of Divinity in Washington, DC at Wesley Theological Seminary, served in churches in Southern California, and now she lives with her partner Rev. Mallory Forte (she/her/hers) and one sweet little pup, Alfie (he/him/his), in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
